Starbucks coffee

The next entry we choose is starbucks. Starbucks is owned and governed by an international coffee company and it is the largest coffee company in the world. Starbucks sells drip brewed coffee, espresso-based hot drinks, other hot and cold drinks, coffee beans, salads, hot and cold sandwiches and panini, pastries, snacks, and items such as mugs and tumblers. The reason we went to Starbucks is because of the Starbucks Malaysia's Happy Hour Promotion, which is every Wednesday for Starbucks card users and Friday for everyone from 5pm - 7pm while Starbucks Frappucino blended beverages will be 50% off. This promotion will run from 25th April 20 until 6th June 2012.

The sizes of Starbucks drinks are tall which is 12oz (354.88 ml), Grande which is 16oz (473.18 ml) and Venti which is 20oz (591.47 ml). The Frappucino drinks which are in half price during Happy Hour in Starbucks are Dark Mocha, Java Chip. Mocha, Caramel, Espresso and Coffee. For Frappucino Coffee-free drinks are Chocolate Cream Chip, Green Tea Cream, Vanilla Cream, Caramel Cream, Chocolate Cream, Mango Passion and Raspberry Blackcurrant. Now there are new beverages in Starbucks which are the Chocolate Cookie Crumble and Mocha Cookie Crumble Frappucino topped with chocolate cream. There are also other choices of drinks offered in Starbucks which are Green Tea Latte, Chai Tea Latte, Black Tea Latte, Iced Shaken Lemon Tea, Tea and Herbal Infusions, Signature Hot Chocolate, Caramel Hot Chocolate, Hazelnut Hot Chocolate, Iced Signature Chocolate, Iced Caramel Chocolate, Iced Hazelnut Chocolate, Iced Coffee, Caramel Macchiato, Vanilla Latte, Caramel Latte, Caffe Mocha, Caffe Latte, Cappuccino, Caffe Americano and Espresso.

The fresh food provided in Starbucks are Kapitan Chicken Pie, Espresso Eclaire, Classic Donut, Chicken Pasta Stack, Blueberry Cheese Cake, Bagel and Scrambled Egg Sandwich, Mandarin Cranberry Muffin, Club Sandwich, Toasted Sandwich, Tuna Finger Sandwich, Chocolate Tuxedo, Marble Cheesecake, Chocolate Caramel Cake, Jazzy Lemon Cheese Cake, Fruitcake, Banana Chocolate Chip Muffin, Blueberry Cream Chip Muffin and Apple Multigrain Muffin.

I registered a Starbucks's limited edition member card. The Malaysia Starbucks Card is a stored value card that offers you great convenience when you purchase at any Starbucks store in Malaysia. With the ease of one quick swipe, you can use it to purchase anything from your favorite beverage to whole bean coffee or the latest range of tumblers. In addition, when you purchased any ten handcrafted beverages, tumbler, or whole cake,  you will get a complimentary grande handcrafted beverage from Starbucks.

During the noon break,many people such as office workers and teens will stop at Starbucks to have drinks. It is because Starbucks has a good environment whereby unique interior design, air conditioner facilities, Wi-fi are available and the most important is the excellent services toward customers. Thus, many people will spends their leisure time at Starbucks with their friends.

Being "Green" is playing an important role to save our earth today. Starbucks is focusing in caring for our earth and encouraging others to put efforts on the same region.Starbucks is trying to develop more environmentally cups and expanding recycling program in order to reduce their waste.

 For example, one of the recycling product is Starbucks Tumbler. If you bring along own Starbucks Tumbler, you are able to save RM2 on your favorite beverage.Through this way, the usage of plastic cups will be reduced, and it is healthy for our environment. Starbucks is trying their best to protect the environment as much as possible. Therefore, Starbucks not only take care their business further more, they emphasis recycle and the environment.

Pei Shuang's Comment

On the left hand side, is it a Espresso Frappuccino, a blended beverage (Blended Coffee). It was the first time i tried the blended coffee, because i don't really like blended drinks, but surprisingly i was satisfied with the drinks which had a shot of rich espresso blended in milk and the drink was beyond my expectation. It was enticing me to buy one more. Espresso blended taste like coffee and mocha and I can taste the smell of Espresso melting in my mouth. It was a best beverage I've ever had. After i had my drink, I was starting to get addicted in Espresso blended. We chose to have a drink at Starbucks because Starbucks provides a good environment and sevices.

Mei Sheng's Comment

I had ordered a Chocolate Cream Chip Frappucino because that was the only non-caffeine drink available which has a 50% off. As I took a sip of my drink, it was delicious and i started to drink it non-stop. It was the best chocolate drink that I had ever tasted. The service of the baristas in Starbucks was really nice and friendly. They even served me with a smile. I will definitely visit Starbucks more often.
